Signing up was super easy, but canceling was a whole different story. It felt a bit like a bait and switch, they make everything seem simple upfront, then suddenly you have to jump through hoops just to get out. Really frustrating experience.

and they did help me out in the end, but it took a while to get everything sorted.

I mean, I like the idea of Going overall, but the alerts have been kind of late for me. A lot of the time, by the time I actually click through, the fare is already gone or the price has changed. It’s not totally useless or anything, but yeah, it’s frustrating when the main point is supposed to be getting quick deal alerts

Maybe it’s just me, but trying to get a refund was a frustrating experience. It turned into a bunch of back-and-forth emails, and I felt like they weren’t that concerned about helping. It took way longer than I expected, and even after all that, I still wasn’t really satisfied with the answer I got...

I gave the free plan a shot, but a lot of the deals I actually wanted were either locked or already kind of too late by the time I saw them. It’s fine if you just want to look around, but I didn’t find it super useful. So yeah.

I used to check these deals often, but lately they’ve been underwhelming. Most of the stuff I’m seeing isn’t much of a bargain, and I can usually find it cheaper on my own with a quick search. Not saying it’s a scam, but it definitely doesn’t feel like the value is there anymore.

I’ve found a few solid flight deals through Going.com, so I can’t say it’s useless or anything. But I’ve also had multiple times where I click the alert and the price is higher, or the deal is just gone, which gets frustrating when you’re actually ready to book.
I know flight prices move fast, so I’m not expecting perfection. Still, it’s kind of unclear who owns the issue when the price doesn’t match, Going sends the alert, but then the airline or travel site has something different. It’s a good service in theory, just a little hit or miss and not always clear who to blame when it falls apart.

I was expecting the deals to line up a little more with the kinds of trips I usually take. The concept is great, and I do check the emails when they come in, but a lot of the destinations aren’t really places I’m looking to visit. My home airport is included, which is nice, but the actual trip suggestions feel a bit hit or miss. I did find one good fare once, so it’s not a bad service, just not quite as relevant for me as I hoped.

I tried using it while shopping with my sister, and it was annoying. We couldn’t find any deals without clicking around forever, so it ended up feeling like more hassle than it was worth.

I’ve found a few solid fare alerts, so it’s definitely not useless or anything. But I guess I expected to see more options from my airport? Maybe that’s just on me for assuming there would be a ton. Some of the deals are actually helpful, but a few seem to disappear or sell out really fast, so I’m always wondering if I just need to check sooner or if they’re not that great to begin with.

Am I the only one who thinks the deals are decent, but the filters could be way more useful? I like browsing, but it feels a bit limited when I’m trying to narrow things down to what I actually want.

I was excited to try it out, but i was disappointed when I saw how few flights were available from my departure airport. It’s a little frustrating because the idea is great, and I really wanted it to work for me, but right now it just doesn’t cover enough routes where I live

I like the trip ideas and some of them are genuinely helpful, but the deals feel kind of random sometimes?? I’ll see something interesting, then the next suggestion doesn’t really make sense for me. Still decent for browsing, just not always useful.

I found a good fare through Going, so that part was nice. The booking process wasn’t quite as easy as I expected though, I got bounced around a bit, and the price changed once before I could finish. I still ended up booking the trip, but it felt a little clunky overall. Glad I got the deal, just wish the process had been smoother.

I did get a few decent alerts, so it wasn’t a total waste, but not enough to make me feel like the paid plan was really worth it. It kind of felt like the goalposts kept moving, I’d see a deal that looked good at first, then realize it was from an airport I don’t use or on dates I couldn’t actually travel.

Maybe this works better if you’re super flexible and can just jump on whatever pops up. For me, it was more frustrating than exciting after a while. I might give it another shot later, but for now the free version feels like plenty.
